Beside Our Shoulders

Large format color film photographs of the lost and forgotten worlds on the fringes of our roadways.

This project focuses on the process as much as the content. All images were shot on a large format field camera. The 4x5 color film was self-developed using a Jobo film processor and self-mixed chemicals. The film was then scanned using a drum scanner and retouched in Adobe Photoshop.
